Job Title: Creative and Production Executive – With a focus on International Co-Productions and Creative Development
Location: Edinburgh, UK (Hybrid / On-site as required)
Reports to: Co-Founders
Contract Type: Full time, three year fixed term.

About the Role
We are recruiting a Creative and Production Executive to join our Edinburgh-based production team, supporting the development , production and delivery of high-quality international co-productions and supporting the development of an ambitious slate of film and television projects. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects, supporting UNIFIED's relationships with global partners, broadcasters, and creative teams to ensure productions are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative standards.

Opportunities and responsibilities:

Support the Producers and production leads in managing all stages of productions — from development through delivery.

This will include some element of assisting the producers. Including diary management and travel coordination.

Scout material, finding books, articles, plays for the company to adapt to film and television.

Review books, scripts, outlines and provide notes, reports, summaries.

Coordinate between international production partners, broadcasters, distributors, and funding bodies to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

Assist and support the management of production schedules, budgets, and deliverables, tracking progress.

Support in the creation of key production documentation and financial closings, including contracts, co-production agreements, schedules, and deliverables lists.

Facilitate cross-border production logistics, including visas, insurance, and compliance with international regulations and union requirements.

Contribute to creative development by sourcing materials, researching potential partners, and supporting pitching and funding applications.

Work closely with post-production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to all partners.

Represent the company professionally at meetings, festivals, and markets as needed.
Skills & Experience

This role would suit someone with some experience in physical production, perhaps some exposure to international co-productions in film, television, or high-end factual/unscripted content and also someone with some experience, or interest in, creative development.

Some understanding of international financing models, tax incentives, and funding structures.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing multiple stakeholders across different time zones.

Excellent editorial notes.

Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in production management software and tools (e.g., Movie Magic, EP or similar).

Strong editorial judgment and interest in storytelling.

A collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

This role would suit a candidate who has an interest in training as a producer within a supportive production company.
